Have you ever had a day where things seem to NOT fit together? These days there seem to be lots of times where things seem unrelated. The picture above and the verse I was reading today do not seem to represent each other. But, the verse makes me want to search for the Lord, and the picture draws me into its path down the water, wanting to search it, see what is there, and it even feels peaceful. I know that there are dangers there, after all, alligators live there! Don’t want to mess with them!
So, as I know that the water above can hide scary things, so can searching for the Lord. There are things on the path to God that will try to derail us, that will want to draw us away from the narrow, onto the wide and easier path.
So as today unfolds, remember that all things may not match, but there are treasures there none the less!
