I look for treasures all around, each day. Some days there are many, like looking at flowers or butterflies. Some days the clouds cover everything and it makes them more difficult to find.
I named my site Treasures3927 because I look for treasures in Gods word, all 66 books. Some days I find one or two, some days none, other days there are so many I lose track! Some days, while reading passages that I have read many times before, the treasure arrives all wrapped in the words that have always been there, but this time God shows me his treasure that I have not seen before.
He is the same always, no matter who we are. The God who was the Father of Abraham, Issac and Jacob; the one who was there when Job lost everything and still praised Him; the one who watched David stray, and come back, always the man looking for Gods own heart.
That God, that Father, is also my God and Father! So, whether I am searching or straying, no matter my situation, He is still there and still the same now as then. Those are the words He told me, I am the same now for you as I was all of them.
So I am still looking for my treasures, and some days I find them, some days they are hidden, but they are always there.
