But we are still learning from Milly. Does everyone take a while to learn? I think most do; I know I do.
Milly has learned, so far, that she is safe here. She always has food to eat, fresh water, and lots of toys to play with. And she does play! We know this because we have a camera set up to watch her at night.
We know which toys she likes, they seem to disappear, as she takes them and hides them. And we have learned what foods she like and what treats. We also have found out she loves catnip!
She still does not come out in the day very much, but there have been a time or two where she shows her face. She also does not run from us but slowly saunters away. She is a very smart cat and she will come around to being out with us, just being Milly!
This has been an interesting time so far with her, we are living with through snapshots of her life, waiting for the day she shows up, curled up on the sofa, just being with us.
Does God have a camera where He watches us? Does He watch our lives through snapshots only? That would mean that there are times when He does not see what we do.
I don’t think His “camera” is ever off. That give me pause to think, what did I do today. His camera is constantly on, watching what we all do. He sees my mistakes, He sees when I have done or not done what I know I should do. But…He also sees what I do right, what I do for others, what I do lovingly.
Keeping this in mind, that He sees all I do, good or bad, in the end, He still loves me, cares for me, and calls me His child. His love knows no bounds.
Romans 8:38-39
